I just recently read a book about dog training that suggested "play training" was a way to introduce dogs to more serious and competitive obedience training. The book went on to describe how a dog that is aggressively interested in playing with a rag is well on its way to becoming trainable. (The book did not mention anything about humans that are interested in playing with rags.)
Amazingly, Doc barely knows how to play with anything.
His idea of play is biting (in a playful way) both dog and human on the butt when they play.
So here we are giving the rag a try.
Come on Doc, get a hold on it.
Outstanding, he's getting the hang of it.
Who wins the prize?
The one with the tallest ears. Naturally.
And who is our favorite NamNog?
Yeah Doober, we're talking about you.
(The brown thing in the foreground is my favorite brown thing Sweemie.)
