I just read an article about a web site (MapBlast!) that encourages people like me to contruct a map like the one above for inclusion into a web page.
The map was easy to create. I just had to type in my address and then point and click to center and zoom it appropriately.
When I was done, MapBlast! displayed the code that I needed to put into this web page to make the map appear.
When you click the map, you are launched into MapBlast!, and you can then zoom and center the map interactively. You can also enter your address, and MapBlast! will give you directions.
You can use MapBlast! to create a map for any location of your choice. You can even E-mail the map you contruct.
I have been looking for such a free service for some time now, and this was FUN to do.
