Epson FujiFilm MX-1200 Fun

This is one of my first pictures with my new FujiFIlm MX-1200 digital camera.
Ever since playing with the Epson PhotoPC which is a 640x480 pixel resolution camera, I pined for a higher resolution camera so that my digitial pictures would be GOOD.
Until recently, a 1240x960 pixel resolution (megapixel) camera was in the $400+ range. I did not want to spend that much on another camera.
After all, I have 10 hand-me-down or gift-to-me cameras.
Periodically, I check on camera reviews and prices at the Digital Camera Resource page.
I found the November 2, 1999 review of the FujiFilm MX-1200 and could not stand it.
Finally, a decent megapixel digital camera with good reviews for under $300.
I shopped around on the Internet and found the camera for $244 at www.hardwarestreet.com.
I bought it forthwith.
Here's another picture.

So far, I am pleased with the camera's performance.
But, digital cameras EAT batteries, so I have two sets of NiCD batteries that I rotate though the camera now.
NiMH batteries are better, but since I already had a NiCD charger I went that route.
