Pooky's Teeth

Teeth for Pooky are a big deal. He is the chewin'est animal I have ever seen. In much the same way that a pacifier is needed to keep a baby happy, "chewies" are needed to keep Pooky happy.
This is a favorite chewie for "game chewing". (Game chewing is the chewing that is done during play as opposed to dedicated chewing which is done when no other activities are taking place.)
It is an old pair of shoes tied at either end of a four foot rope.
For the picture I tied it to a deck post so Pooky could deal with the shoes while I snapped the picture. Normally we do not tie the shoes to the post.
Instead, we play tug and fetch. Fetch is most fun when I grab the rope in the middle and swing the shoes round and round like a bolo, then throw them high up into the air. Pooky tries to run under them so they come down right in front of him.
