Pooky Gets a Bath

In early November, after it got too cold to bathe Durbin outside, we took him to "U-Wash Puppy".

These places are really nice. For about $10, you get everything you need to wash your dog; restraining collar, soap, lots of warm water, towels, a "hair dryer" and even an apron (which I was too stupid to wear).

The tubs are up off of the ground so that normal-sized people do not have to stoop over to get the job done. They even have movable stairs so that the big dogs can climb in (with some urging).

And on a Saturday afternoon, there are lots of other dogs to look at. Doober got to see a little full-grown female yellow Lab that was just 45 pounds. At 8 months, Doober was already pushing 70 pounds.

Yes, he's a big Doober.
