Last fall, we worked on hitting and the best Pooky could do was chew his bat into wood chips.
So, this spring I thought we would work on the suicide squeeze.
I worked real hard teaching him how to slide nose first.
Notice the little fence that blocks the first base side of the line. I has to put this there because without it, he would run from third, back around to second and first, and then try to steal home from the first base side. It caught the catcher off guard, but was illegal and he was out.
Notice what a relaxed base runner he is.
