I read in a book that dogs like to chew on and play with empty plastic milk jugs.
ManDog and I did an experiment to see if this was true.
We tied the handle of one milk jug to one end of a piece of rope and then threaded the other end of the rope through as many as eight jugs. We then declared this to be a toy.
Man showed that although chewing a hole in any one of the jugs was "desirable", real fun could be achieved more readily by playing tug-of-war with the milk jug stringer, shaking the jugs about the head ferociously, and trying to latch onto the jug closest to my hands.
