Pooky Shows Off His Rose of Sharon
Doober had enough energy on this hot August day to pose by his Rose of Sharon.
Doober helps me water this row of 12 shrubs.
I squirt the shrubs with the hose and Doober gives them a squirt too.
He particularly likes to drink from the hose.
After he gets his fill, he lays down in some nearby shade and waits for me to give him an occasional misting with the hose.
After a recent rain shower, the shrubs came to life and we were rewarded with this photo opportunity.
